In general, we recommend watering twice a day for the first 7-10 days. This may vary due to environmental conditions or how fast the lawn dries out. The primary goal is to keep the sod and underlying soil moist for the first 7-10 days. A uniform application of ¾” – 1” per watering is recommended. After the first 2 -3 weeks, gradually reduce watering to allow the soil to begin to firm up
Once the roots are established you may begin mowing your new sod. This typically takes approximately 2 weeks; individual results may vary.
